180 Degree View Of The Lake | SPA + A/C!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Big Bear. The place was great. Comfortable, clean, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The host was very responsive, accommodating, and made the entire experience easy from check-in through checkout. We really appreciated the hospitality and would happily stay here again.

This was the worst airbnb experience. Floating trash in the lake from their dumpster of a dock area, dock flipped upside down with barrel on top. Animals swimming in their garbage, plastic bags and spray paint cans. No umbrellas for shade on the one deck they offer and bird poop and webs and dirt all over. Bright spotlights all around the house starting before sunset that shine in your face and into the house. Fixtures falling off the walls. Spa was so gross never would even consider it. Plastic bags and water bottles under the stairs when you enter, super wobbly railing and just over all totally a lie in what you see in these pics. Beyond disappointed as was my one little vacation from work. They simply said sorry and no they can’t suppy shade nor turn off night lights but can come clean and fix all the garbage while I was staying there. I had to wait to 4pm to check in. It was so bad and clearly so greedy. They also bothered me so much after the trip to avoid an honest review.

We visited Big Bear Lake for our honeymoon and wanted to stay on the waterfront. For the views/location, this was the best deal we could find! The Airbnb was clean and private, and the host was extremely responsive throughout our stay. The house was set up for conveniences like quick coffee and laundry, and has a full kitchen in case you want to grocery shop and make your own food. The balcony overlooking the lake and wildlife is very peaceful. There were a few quibbles; the Wi-Fi connection was weak, but honestly if we would have noticed/reached out about the issue sooner, I’m sure the host would’ve resolved it. The hot tub also stopped working on our last night, but the host gave us late checkout the next day when it wasn’t immediately fixable. We had a great time overall and would stay again!
