Before booking and again prior to arrival, we messaged the host to confirm that the hot water and hot tub were fully operational. We were assured that everything was working properly.

However, upon arrival and around 7 PM that evening, there was no hot water at all, and the hot tub was not functioning. Hot water is a basic essential amenity, and not having it made the first night extremely uncomfortable.

Due to snow and road conditions, relocating that evening was not a safe or realistic option, so we had no choice but to stay.

The following day, the hot tub was still not working.

This stay did not meet expectations, especially after receiving confirmation beforehand that everything was operational. Future guests should double-check essential utilities before booking." (4/5)
