Three new routes have been specially designed to make accessing restaurants, grocery stores, retail shops, ski resorts, snow play areas, parks and work easy and efficient. There are 3 routes that lead to Big Bear: Hwy 18, Hwy 330 & Hwy 38. As long as there is one route open and accessible, your reservation will remain in effect. Check the CalTrans website to get the most current and accurate road conditions. Please understand that we are in the mountains and at the mercy of mother nature. Perfection does not exist when she decides to make her appearance. Please note we do not have air conditioning - you won’t find AC in typical mountain cabins and it’s rarely hot enough. For warmer summer days, you can open windows to take advantage of the natural cross breezes from our hilltop + use the portable fans provided. To comply with our city permit, there is a $35 charge for dish cleaning in case they are not washed before your check-out. If there is trash in the property, there will be an additional charge of $25 per bag. Any guest that violates county or city rules as outlined in our 'things to know' and 'house rules' sections will be subject to paying a $350 call code attendance fee by our 24:7 call compliance staff in addition to any fines levied by the city, whether it results in a violation or not.

We loved Leanne’s place, it was so stylish and looked just like the photos, the view was beautiful. We enjoyed the fire pit, jacuzzi and BBQ. It was very peaceful and calm. The only downside was the mattresses, they were very firm and we were unable to get a good nights rest. If you don’t mind a very firm bed then this is a great spot. I would love to stay again if Leanne gets box springs or new mattresses we would return.

The cabin has charm, but unfortunately comfort, upkeep, and attention to detail significantly impacted our stay. At $300 per night, we expected a more elevated experience, and the basics did not meet that expectation. The biggest problems were the beds and bedding. The mattresses were extremely hard and uncomfortable, the sheets were unusually thin, and the comforters were flat and provided very little warmth — we had to take an extra one from another bed just to stay comfortable at night. The bathroom also had issues. The shower curtain didn’t fully close, so water went everywhere, and with a limited number of towels available this became inconvenient. Two light bulbs were out (one in the bathroom and one by the upstairs bed), and many of the curtains throughout the cabin were falling off or poorly hung. Throughout the space, there were numerous artificial plants that were visibly worn and falling apart. Instead of enhancing the cabin’s atmosphere, they highlighted a lack of attent
