We love well-behaved dogs, and we understand that going on vacation with your beloved fur babies is more fun! Bring them along and explore all the nature that Big Bear has to offer. We recommend taking them over to the alpine pedal path for some exercise or exploring one of the many hiking trails throughout the valley. The trails are sure to tire out the most athletic pups. We do not allow cats.

*Views: Primary bedroom has an unobstructed view of Bear Mountain.

*5 person occupancy, 2 cars max. No street parking allowed at any time.

*An EV charger is available for your convenience during your stay. Please note that access to the charger and all payments are managed through the app. For Teslas, please bring your adapter.

For security purposes, a ring doorbell monitors the front door by video.

There are 3 routes that lead to Big Bear: Hwy 18, Hwy 330 & Hwy 38. As long as there is one route open and accessible, your reservation will remain in effect. Check the CalTrans website to get the most current and accurate road conditions.

Please understand that we are in the mountains and at the mercy of mother nature. Perfection does not exist when she decides to make her appearance.

Please note we do not have air conditioning - you won’t find AC in typical mountain cabins and it’s rarely hot enough. For warmer summer days, you can open windows to take advantage of the natural cross breezes from our hilltop + use the portable fans provided.

To comply with our city permit, there is a $45 charge for dish cleaning in case they are not washed before your check-out.

If there is trash in the property, there will be an additional charge of $25 per bag.

Any guest that violates county or city rules as outlined in our 'things to know' and 'house rules' sections will be subject to paying a $350 call code attendance fee by our 24:7 call compliance staff in addition to any fines levied by the city, whether it results in a violation or not.

We arrived 1hr early (at 3pm). I had yet to receive any check in details and messaged the host to see if we could enter a bit earlier than the scheduled 4pm. There was no cleaner there at the property and previous Airbnb bookings this has never been an issue. (this was the 4th Airbnb my family has used in 2 weeks as we have been traveling around). We were told we couldn't check in early, so we sat on the porch and waited until the door code was sent to us. They sent the code at 3:50pm. The house is very dark inside and a few of the light bulbs were not working. Some outlets weren't working, there was no coffee available. The kitchen chairs were very uncomfortable and felt flimsy. The hot tub was also cold on arrival. The floors are uneven and slopping in areas. Overall, this Airbnb was not worth the money we paid.

We loved Leanne’s place, it was so stylish and looked just like the photos, the view was beautiful. We enjoyed the fire pit, jacuzzi and BBQ. It was very peaceful and calm. The only downside was the mattresses, they were very firm and we were unable to get a good nights rest. If you don’t mind a very firm bed then this is a great spot. I would love to stay again if Leanne gets box springs or new mattresses we would return.
